Mid Level GUI Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The GUI Designer will design web based applications with ability to create tables, setup DTS scripts, indexing), HTML, Web Focus, JavaScript. She/he will design, develop, test, and implement the Web based Applications used by the client. The Developer would also be responsible for prototyping and implementing web applications, as well as analyzing and periodically updating application content as needed. These tasks include capturing user requirements through collaboration with not only business analysts, software developers and vendors, but also with client's technical teams in the respective areas. Use of Javascript, a variety of graphic design tools and other Web development tools/languages in an open system environment is required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Graphics Design to create web screen layout and click thru.
• Convert the click-thru into ASP.NET pages using CSS, Themes, Skins and any upcoming technology.
• Ensure web pages are functional across different browser types.
• Verifies compliance with accessibility standards.
• Pixel perfection.
• Suggest and guide the internal client to make the website more pleasing and user friendly.
• Researches new web technologies to provide state of the art web capabilities.
• Keep current on web standards and compliance which impact contract obligations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Practical Data Warehousing experience in the role of Database Administrator.
• Experience working with large Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Experience with Data Transformation technologies (Microsoft Integration Services preferred).
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Microsoft Analysis and Reporting Services preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio languages (including *.NET, AJAX, MDX, DMX and XMLA).
• Should be a team player willing to do whatever it takes to develop and document infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of themes and skins
• 4+ years with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets(CSS)
• 3+ years with Photoshop, (Illustrator experience preferred)
• 3+ years with Flash, Flex, Actionscript
• 2+ years with .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, C#, java script
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree Required

Salary based on experience and is comparable to like salaries within the area.
