Early Education

Oz Systems Early EducationEarly childhood development experts are in the business of readying pre-kindergarten aged children to learn when they reach kindergarten.  Measuring student and program performance are critical activities to determine early education successes.

OZ Systems provides educators the data management tools to better inform the Early Childhood Development projects about progress, resource allocations, and overall performance outcomes.  Individual student performance is evaluated by integrating information, including assessment scores, from various sources.

Student achievement can be tracked longitudinally.  This enables publicly funded early childhood programs to account for their successes, inform policy making, define roles and responsibilities, and create fiscal accountability where funding is tied to progress.

Individual student performance can also be tied directly to local pre-k program performance so parents can evaluate and compare early education programs.  The programs can use objective criteria to tout successes in educating pre-k children.

To meet FERPA requirements, the OZ Systems’ system enables the use of “masked” data to protect the identity of students while achieving research objectives.
